Our principle
We use artificial intelligence (AI) to make it easier for you to find and book ski rental and ski lessons. You should always know when you are communicating with an AI and which content was created with the help of AI. Responsibility for our service always remains with us.
The AI booking assistant “Booky”
Booky is a chat assistant based on a large language model (Claude by the provider Anthropic). When you chat with Booky, you are communicating with an AI system, not with a human. We tell you this explicitly before your first chat.
What Booky is for
- Answering questions about ski rental, ski lessons, ski resorts and booking.
- Turning your details (e.g. people, dates, ski resort) into a booking proposal, which you then review and complete yourself.
What Booky does not do
- Booky does not conclude contracts or trigger payments – you always complete the booking yourself.
- Booky does not make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you and does not create personality profiles.
- Booky does not recognise emotions and does not process biometric data.
Limitations
AI answers may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Only the information in the booking summary shown before payment is binding – in particular prices, dates, the partner business and the cancellation terms. Please check it carefully.
You can always book without AI. If you would rather talk to a human, write to us at support@bookyourski.com.
The Booky search field on the homepage
Whatever you type into the search field on our homepage is initially stored only in your browser. It is sent to the AI provider only once you start the chat with Booky and confirm the AI notice. The example requests shown are suggestions and are only used if you click on them.
Content created with the help of AI
- Texts: parts of the texts on this website – such as information on ski resorts, tips and frequently asked questions, as well as translations – are created with the help of AI. We review them before publication and take editorial responsibility for them.
- Images: the homepage header image and the character “Booky” were created with the help of AI. They are illustrations and do not depict real events or people. Photos of partner businesses are real photographs used with their consent.
- Prices, availability and service descriptions of partner businesses come from the partners' own information and are not generated by AI.
Data protection
To generate Booky's answers, your chat messages and the current state of your booking are sent to Anthropic. We do not store chat histories on our servers. Full details, including on transfers to the USA and on your rights, are set out in our Privacy Policy at /en/privacy.
Legal classification
Booky is a limited-risk AI system within the meaning of the EU AI Act. We meet the transparency obligations under Article 50 of the Act by informing you before use that you are interacting with an AI and by disclosing our use of AI on this page. Booky is not used for any purpose that the Act prohibits or classifies as high-risk.
